Micro residency at The Experimental School, 2024

Throughout the residency, we developed a daily process that always culminated in an improvisation in front of the camera. In my view, these improvisations draw on the codes of unboxing, continuously rearranging the dynamics between body–product–packaging. Bodies are packed or unpacked; products wrap other products; packagings are packed like products; bodies package themselves. Throughout the days, a relational device takes shape: an exchange zone limited by the image frame; performers, packaging, and products meeting and inter-modulating within it.
